THE TRIPLE

On October 8, 1989, Earnie became the first motorcycle jumper in history to successfully complete The Triple, at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in front of 100,000 fans.

In a span of 17 seconds, Adams jumped 60 cars, with three jumps on the same run consisting of 100 feet, 125 feet and 150 feet.

The jump was Adams’ “response statement”, as he and some of the sports other top stars were somehow excluded from a chance at making a Ceasar’s Palace event more than it actually was.
